Beondie Mae Stephenson, a cherished member of her family and community, passed away on December 14, 2024, in Houston,, at the age of 87. Born on August 25, 1937, in San Augustine, Texas, Beondie was a remarkable woman known for her warmth and care for others.

Throughout her life, Beondie dedicated herself to being a homemaker and a caretaker, embodying the spirit of nurturing and support. She took great joy in her family, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Beondie's hobbies included sewing and shopping, pursuits that expressed her creativity and brought her immense joy.

Beondie Mae Stephenson was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sidney Lanham "Lannie" Stephenson, and her parents, Charlie Quinn and Verniece Evett Quinn. She also mourned the loss of her sisters, Brooksie Smith and Louise Franklin, who remain cherished in the memories of those who knew them.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughter, Wenona Lindley and her husband Greg. Beondie was a proud grandmother to Jessica Grable and her husband Micah, Rebecca Vaughn and her husband Bryan, and Stephanie Benson and her husband Jeremy. She delighted in her role as a great grandmother to Shawn, Dakota, Kinzey, Rylee, Grayson, Molly, Lillian, Alice, Cooper, and Claire. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Leon Quinn, and her sisters, Ettie Ruth Pate and her husband Richard, and Helen Castleberry, along with numerous other family members and friends who will remember her fondly.

Visitation will be held on December 19, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at The Sanctuary, located at 100 East Hanson Street, Cleveland, Texas, 77327.

Beondie Mae Stephenson's legacy of love and kindness will endure in the hearts of her family and friends, who celebrate her life and the indelible mark she left on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
