Betty Lee Scambray

Betty Lee Scambray, 89, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014 in Cleveland, TX. She was born on Tuesday, May 12, 1925, in Athens, Texas to Jim and Lucy Gage, both of whom have preceded her in death. Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Scambray, son, Micheal Ray Cummings, sister, Adell Kramer, sister, Mary Davis, sister, Velma Davis, sister, Faye, sister, Lucy Mae Gage. Left to cherish her memory are son, James Benard Carabin and wife Evelyn; daughter, Wanda Dell Whiddon and husband Lynn; sister, Margaret Williams; five Grandchildren, Corey Whitaker, Alan Whitaker, Michelle Hall, Marianne, Troy Carabin; six Great-Grandchildren, Destiny Whitaker, Dustin Whitaker, Alexis Whitaker, Natalie Whitaker, Alan Whitaker, Sam Whitaker; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends.
