Bobby William Thompson Sr

Bobby William Thompson, Sr., 72, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014. He was born on Wednesday, September 17, 1941 in Houston, Texas to Clarence Thompson and Maybel (Poulter) Thompson Jaetzold, Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Thompson, sister, Billie Jo Wright; Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife of 53 years Carolyn Thompson; daughters, Melissa Thompson Newsom and Shoey Hoangland, Janice Thompson Hoffman and Brett Bishop; son, Bobby William Thompson, Jr and Elizabeth Payne; step-daughter, Roberta Faith Goode; mother, Maybel Jaetzold; sisters, Patricia Thompson Morris and Robert, Carolyn Thompson Gatlin and H.L., Delores Thompson Hutto, Jan Thompson Sanders and Jim and Betty Thompson Ashley; brother, Gordan Ray Moore and Roberta Liles; grandchildren, Patrick Newsom, Jr., Anthony Newsom, Joshua Newsom and wife Jennifer, Nicole Thompson, John Hoffman, Mary Onukiavge and husband Pete, Bobby Thompson, III and wife Sabrina; along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews cousins and other loving family and treasured friends. Bobby was in Law Enforcement for 25 years, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Dayton, Texas. Visitation will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Drawe Cemetery, Warrenton, Texas. Reverend Ralph Martin officiating.
