Bobby Vickery

Bobby Fay Hawthorne Vickery went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday July 28, 2012, in Cleveland, TX.  She was born Monday December 4, 1933, in Willis, TX to Alonzo Exie and Mattie Winder Hawthorne, both of whom precede her in death.  She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband Billy Wayne Vickery and her sister Mavis Earlene Hawthorne. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved children, Cheryl Higginbotham and husband Murphy, Jeryl "Bo" Vickery and Angela Allen and husband Danny.  Bobby Fay is also survived by her sister Martha Ayers and husband Dalton; her brother Robert Hawthorne and wife Louise; grandchildren Murphy Higginbotham and wife Diedra, Brett Higginbotham and wife Darlene, Angela Dowling and husband Cody, Glenda Vickery and partner Carmen Wong, Charlie Vickery, Carrie Pillow and husband Ronnie, Christopher Allen and wife Crystal, Jessica Burns and husband Michael, Christopher "Luda" Allen, Peyton, Dillan, Dustin, Paige, Piper, Samuel, and Hunter Allen; great-grandchildren Ty and Billy Wayne Higginbotham, Kristen Jones, Brittany Higginbotham, Brandon Banda, Ava Higginbotham, Olivia Dowling, Skarlett Higginbotham, Levi Richter, Gideon Dowling, Ethan Allen, Helena Vickery-Wong, Maddox Burns, Smitty Dowling, Makaya Allen, Dani Jean Burns, Jude Vickery-Wong, and Mark Vickery-Wong; numerous other loving family and friends. Visitation for Bobby Fay was Monday July 30, 2012 at Cornerstone Church. Services were held Tuesday July 31, 2012 at Cornerstone Church with Pastor Tim Holt officiating. She was escorted to her final resting place at Montague Cemetery by Jimmy Allen, Leonard Ayers, David Gingles, Tim Magee, Donald Scott, and Joe Vann. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
