Brenda Kay Pate

Brenda Kay Pate, 58, of Livingston, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, July 03, 2017. She began her journey on Sunday, November 09, 1958, in Austin, Texas and touched many lives along the way. Brenda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Enzor and Mary Pate, and Bill and Nancy Grady, her nephew, William Elbert "Nubbins" Pate, Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her loving son, Jason Dale Blanton; grandsons, Tristan Layne Blanton and Blake Dylan Blanton; father, Cleo Pate; mother, Geraldine Reeves and husband Roger; brother, W.E. Pate; sisters, Theresa Ann Steinkuehler and husband Chuck and Gerry Lynn Pate; her beloved dog, Chance; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, and other loving family and treasured friends.
Brenda was one of the most selfless people this world has ever been blessed to know, and she will be truly missed. She always thought of others before herself and would go without so that anyone she loved would not. Her love was fierce, her love was true, and everyone who had the privilege of really knowing her knew that in Brenda they had a friend who would fight for them to the end.
Brenda was a strong woman, who loved her family and loved her God, and when he called her home she took his hand and stepped into a beautiful eternity where there is no more pain, no more suffering, and no more tears. We will see her again, but until that day, let us celebrate the life she lived, knowing our lives are better because she was here.
