Champ Frank Nickson Jr

Champ Frank Nickson, Jr., 64, of Dayton, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017. He was born on Tuesday, April 28, 1953 in Walker, Texas to Champ Frank Nickson, Sr. and Queen Esther Nickson, both of whom have preceded him in death. Champ was also preceded in death by his brother, Willie D. Nickson, sisters, Lettie Faye Nickson, Laurie Ann Nickson, and Frankie Mae Nickson. Left to cherish his memory is his loving spouse of five years Jeanette Sinegal; son, Latroy Chevez Ryce and wife Priscilla; sisters, Deborah Kay Demps and husband Lashondell Gillespie, Carrie Lee Nickson, Carol Elaine Simon, Katha Terry, Diane Nickson; grandchildren, Elijha Ryce, Isaiah Ryce, Latroy Ryce, Jr., and Lariah Ryce; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Champ will be held at Galilee Baptist Church, on October 21, 2017 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Galilee Baptist Church at 11:00 am. Interment for Champ will immediately follow at Spring Ridge Cemetery. Pastor Archie Phillips officiating.
