Charles Louis Groaning 64, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in Houston, Texas. He was born on Wednesday, June 9, 1948 in Granite City, Illinois to Charles E Groaning and Virginia (Stovroff) Groaning, both of whom have preceded him in death. Charles was also preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Shipley; Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Brenda Gail (Cranford) Groaning; his beloved children, Chris Groaning and wife Chastity, Christine Swaney and husband Ben; Matthew Groaning and wife Tenny; brother, Barry Groaning and wife Kathy; grandchildren Josh and Ashlee Groaning, Benny, Nathan, Savannah and Alyssa Swaney, Catelyn and Zachery Groaning; great-grandchild, Kolton Groaning; ; along with numerous other loving family and friends. Graveside Services for Charles will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 1:45 pm , officiating, Reverend Bob White. All services were handled under the compassionate care of Neal Funeral Home.
