Charles "Pug" Edward Hollie, 73, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015. He was born on Saturday, July 26, 1941 in Fields, Louisiana. Pug was a member of The Sanctuary Pentecostal Church and a Master Mason affiliated with Tarkington Prairie, Lodge #498.
Pug was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Hollie, mother, Lurlene Hollie, sister, Wilma Browning, and granddaughter, Caitlin Elaine Hollie. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 52 years, Sue Hollie of Cleveland; two sons, Carroll DuWayne Hollie and fiancé Tami Thompson of Porter, Texas, James Matthew Hollie and wife Angela of Cleveland, Texas; two brothers, Buddy Hollie and wife Janie of Shepherd, Texas, Keith Hollie and wife Vicki of Cleveland, Texas; sister, Suzie Adkison and husband Don of Cleveland, Texas; cousin, who he considered a brother, Douglas Hollie and wife Eloise of Cleveland, Texas; grandchildren, Ashley Hollie, Leslie Hollie, Jessica Hollie; along with countless other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Pug will be held at The Sanctuary on June 14, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services for Pug will be at The Sanctuary held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at Morgan Cemetery.
Pastor Franklin Howard, Pastor Kevin Howard, and Reverend Douglas Hollie will be officiating.
