Charles Clay Parker

Charles Clay Parker, 81, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015. He was born on Sunday, September 3, 1933 to Bluford Parker and Zula Parker, both of whom have preceded him in death. Charles was also preceded in death by his brother, Jack Parker and N.J. Parker. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 55 years, Yvonne Parker; daughter, Charlene Ward and husband Luke of Fairfield, TX; son, Kurt Parker and wife Kristal of Splendora, TX; brother, Jimmie Joe Parker; grandchildren, Ryland Parker, Kimberly Myers and husband Jordan, Savanna Parker and Randi Ward; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Funeral Services for Charles will be held at Cornerstone Church in Cleveland, TX on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 4:00 pm. Interment for Charles will immediately follow at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Garden. Brother James Holt will be officiating.
Charles proudly served 21 years in the USAF. He and Yvonne were members of Cornerstone Church for 22.5 years, where he served as an Elder. Charles was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
