Charles "Scotty" Dwain Scott

Charles "Scotty" Dwain Scott passed away from this world on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the age of 82. He was born into this world in Greenville, Texas on Saturday January 6, 1934 to Lee Roy Scott and Grace Truman Moore Scott both of whom preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his son, Russell "Rusty" Dwain Scott; brothers, Jimmy Dan Scott, Garland Truman Scott, Bob Scott and Donald Russell Scott; sisters, Jackie Kennedy, June Summit and Sandra Dunn. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce Scott; children, Stacey Shairrick and husband Terry, Bruce Scott and wife Traci, Stephanie Harper and husband Darrell; brother, William Patrick Scott and wife Shirley; sisters, Ruth Young and husband Norris, Gaile Farrell, Becky Hair and husband Jarrell, and Tillie Morrow; grandchildren, Dana Tucker, Brent Short, Cinda Mason, Kassye Deggs, Brandon Harper, Cori Scott, Robert Beaty, Jr., Scotti Harper, Sara Stearman, Kenny Shairrick, Cali Bowley; twenty great grandchildren and numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 5pm-8pm at Neal Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 2pm at Neal Funeral Home. Officiating, Pastor Matt Peterson. All arrangements were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
