Charlie Alfred Martin, Jr., 86, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 in Bon Wier, Texas.
Charlie was born Thursday, July 15, 1926, in Blackwell, Texas to Charles A. and Gertie Viola Turner Martin Sr, both of whom precede him in death. Also preceding him in death is his son Larry Eugene Martin; brother Isaac Martin and sister Viola Farris.
Charlie was a veteran of the US Army. He served our country in the Korean War.
Left to cherish his memory his his daughter Brenda Martin of Bon Wier, Texas; sister Daisy Bellincini of New Mexico; grandchildren Wayne, Keith and Kimberly Higginbotham; great-grandchildren Cara Higginbotham, Wade Higginbotham, Bailey Mullins, Hayden Mullins, Ashlyn Higginbotham, Kaitlyn Higginbotham and Bryan Higginbotham; as well as a host of treasured friends.
Graveside service for Charlie will be held at Bear Creek Cemetery, November 27, 2012 at 11:00 am. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
