Christopher Noel "Chris" Howard

Christopher Noel "Chris" Howard,49, of Tarkington Prairie, passed away on Friday October 13, 2017. He was born on, Thursday May 2, 1968 in Channelview, Texas. Chris was preceded in death by his brother, Sean Kelvin Howard; grandparents Riley and Emma Howard, Carroll and Helen (Shelton) Berryhill.

Chris is survived by his wife, Christie Howard; children, Zach and Christian Howard, parents, Vernon Ray and Rickie Lynn (Shelton) Howard; sister, Veronica (Howard) Baker and husband Steve; mother-in-law Katherine Fort; sister's-in-law, Tina Kennedy and husband Eddie, LeAnn Smalley and husband Mike, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other loving family and treasured friends.

Chris was a loving husband, father, and son. His love of sports lead him to be a coach at Tarkington High School, and Livingston High School. He also coached little league in all the surrounding areas. Chris touched many lives, he was a great mentor and helped many to find their way thru life, by introducing them to sports. Chris was loved by all and will be missed by many.

Visitation for Chris will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Tuesday October 17, 2017 6-8 pm. Funeral service for Chris will be held at Cornerstone Church on Wednesday at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Ryan Cemetery.
