Claude (C.V.) Robbins, 79, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 in Shepherd, Texas . He was born on Monday, January 8, 1934 in Forest Hill , Louisiana to Oliva (O.V.) Robbins and Lillie Robbins, both of whom have preceded him in death. Claude was also preceded in death by his spouse, Melba Elaine Engle-Robbins, son, Johnny Wayne Robbins, sisters, Beatrice Crawford, Audrey Lowe, Patsy Pennington and Eloise Moody; Left to cherish his memory is his loving children, Raymond Smith, Lavon and Bill Soape, Wendell and Jackie Robbins, Larry and Annette Robbins and Wendy Robbins; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sisters, Jerry Armoney and husband Ronald, Charlotte Carrerra; Shirley Ann Gunter and husband Jerry, Olivia Nash and husband Leonard; brother, David Lee Robbins and wife Lana; brother-in law, David Lowe; numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for C.V. will be held at Neal Funeral Home Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Neal Funeral Home Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Burial for C.V. will immediately follow at Rosewood Memorial, Humble, Texas. Officiating, Reverend Melvin Holifield, and Wendell Robbins.
