David J. Taylor

David J. Taylor, 48, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 in The Woodlands, Texas.

David was born Thursday, November 12, 1964, in Houston, Texas to Oscar Jewell Taylor and Linda Sue Lindsay. David is preceded in death by his daughter Shyanne Nicole Taylor; grandfather Guy Hughes.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 29 years Lelia Dee Jannise Taylor; father Oscar Taylor and wife Barbara; mother Linda Lindsay and husband Kenneth; son David Taylor Jr. and wife Christina; brothers Allen Taylor and Candice Bowden, Rocky Taylor and wife Samantha; sisters Helen Renfro and husband Buster, Becky Lindsay and Lee Fulcher; grandchildren Hayden Taylor, Brantley Taylor; grandmother Faye Hughes; as well numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will include Rocky Taylor II, Ricky Scruggs, Allen Taylor II, Brian Taylor, Shaun Taylor, D.J. Taylor; Honorary Pallbearers will include Rocky Taylor and Allen Taylor.

Visitation for David will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2013, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Neal Funeral Home. Service for David will commence at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow in the Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Garden. Officiating is Brother Melvin Holifield. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to help cover funeral expenses. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
