Davis Wyers

Davis Wyers, 92, of Shepherd, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018. He was born on Monday, March 1, 1926 in Moundville, Alabama to Charlie Bill Wyers and Bessie (Hill) Wyers, both of whom have preceded him in death.  Davis was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Donnie "Dot" (Hisaw) Wyers, and loving wife of 18 years, Earline Hewett Wyers; brothers, Robert Wyers, Willie Floyd Redding, Danny Redding; sisters, Mary Frances (Tom) Pate,  Lonnie Wyers Guin, Earline Wyers Burroughs, Ruby Alice McDonald; son-in-law, James Thomas Allen.  Left to cherish his memory is his loving children, Linda Wyers Simmons & husband Billy, JoAnn Allen, and “ The Baby” Charlie Bill Wyers Sr. & wife Sharon Kay; grandchildren, Michelle Wiggins & husband Curtis, Kimberly Hardwick & husband Don, James Lee Allen, Jody Ann Russell, Jacob James Thomas Allen, Tina Kay Wyers Smith & husband Joe Douglas, Charlie Bill Wyers Jr. & wife Lea Marie; special child Michael Goodson; 17 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Davis was a member of Family Faith Church in Coldsprings, Texas, and a former member of North Cleveland Baptist Church. Visitation for Davis will be held at Neal Funeral Home on November 29, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Funeral services for Davis will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Friday, November 30, 2018, at 10 a.m. Interment for Davis will immediately follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery.
