Donald Gene "Doug" Wilson, 74, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014 in Kingwood, Texas. He was born on Sunday, July 20, 1940 in Nashville, Arkansas to Fred Joel and Hazel Clara (Shofner) Wilson, both of whom have preceded him in death. Donald was also preceded in death by loving wife of 50 years, Cecilia Wilson, brother, Caril Wilson, and sister, Vella Jane Wilson; Left to cherish his memory is his son, Curtis Gene Wilson and wife Bonnie; daughters, Tracy Annette Wilson Rheams and husband Roy, Rachelle Lynn Wilson Taylor and Larry Bourque; brothers, Leon Wilson and wife Doris, William Wilson and wife Sandra; grandchildren Curtis Gene Wilson, Jr., James Tyler Wilson, Emily Elizabeth Wilson, Melissa Reese, Melynda Yarborough, Kevin Randall Childres, Jr., Samuel Logan Rheams, Mitchell Roy Rheams, Weston Gene Rheams, Bret Clements Taylor, Jr., Dylan Reed Taylor, Toby Wilson Taylor, Roxie Rachelle Taylor, and Justin Bourque; great-grandchild, Heidi Marie Goddard; special friends, Clarence "Bubba" Goines, Ronald and Barbara Hare, along with Billy Criner; numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Doug was a member of Sam B. Crawford Masonic Lodge # 1418 in New Caney, Texas, where he was instrumental with the construction of this lodge, which still stands proudly today. A memorial service for Doug will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Tuesday September 16, 2014 at 11:00 am. All arrangements were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
