Ellen Hill

Ellen Christene "Chris" Hill, 79, passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 in Cleveland, Texas. Chris was born Friday, November 18, 1932, in Lonoke County, Arkansas to Ira Mitchell Berry and Fannie E Berry. Chris was very active in her church and loved to spend her time oil painting. Chris was preceded in death by her mother and father Fannie E Berry and Ira Mitchell Berry. Chris was also preceded in death by her brother, Lloyd Berry. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 61 years Bobby Hill; son Robert Wayne Hill and wife Laura, his children Thomas Mitchell Hill, Caleb Louis Hill, Jacob Wayne Hill; daughter in law Lisa Carpenter; sisters Merle McNew, Virginia and husband Doy Haguewood; Loving friend, Jerry McFarland as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.Visitation for Chris will be held Sunday, August 12, 2012, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Neal Funeral Home. Service for Chris will be held at 1st Baptist of Plum Grove, CR 345, Plum Grove, Texas, August 13, 2012 at 1pm. Internment to follow at Grandview Memorial Park in Pasadena, Texas at 3:30 pm. Officiating is Reverend Wes Hinote. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
