Ethan Ray Malone

Ethan Ray Malone, born in Ironton, Ohio on July 19, 1984, passed away on October 6, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy characterized by love, loyalty, and a spirit as wild as the adventures he went on.

Ethan worked in construction and the oil field but found abundant joy working at Jack's Ranch, where he embraced each day with a hearty laugh and a willingness to lend a hand. His infectious spirit radiated warmth, drawing people in and making them feel at home. Those who were fortunate enough to know him recognized his profound love for his family, especially his children, Elijah and Ava. Ethan's devotion to them was the driving force behind his every action, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

A partner to Abigail Nash for 13 years, Ethan's love for her was unwavering. He was also the beloved son of Butch Malone and Lynette Malone, who fostered his adventurous heart and kind personality. Ethan was a proud brother, deeply connected to his sisters, Ellen Malone and her fiancé Rickey Wright, and Erica Maier and her husband Jake. He filled their lives with joy, laughter, and countless memories that they will treasure forever.

Ethan was nothing short of extraordinary. With a heart larger than life itself, he delighted in helping those around him, never hesitating to offer support or a listening ear. He held a special place in the lives of many, always choosing to see the good in everyone. He never spoke ill of others, which endeared him to friends and family alike. His adventurous spirit drew him to the great outdoors, where he found solace while fishing and hunting. These hobbies were not just pastimes for Ethan; they were avenues for connection, both with nature and the people he loved.

Though we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the life he lived—one full of laughter, generosity, and unwavering love. Ethan was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Frank C. Malone Sr., his grandmother, Dorothy Watt, and his aunt, Michelle Chamberlain, whose spirits live on in the hearts of those who remember them.

In honor of Ethan, a Celebration of Life will be held for him on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 41 Cove Lane Pointblank, TX 77364 beginning at 2:00 PM. You may bring a dish for the potluck, a yard chair, and your preferred drink of choice. You are more than welcome to come by any time.
