Felix Straughter, 77, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012 in Shepherd, Texas.
Felix was born Monday, May 6, 1935, to Roger and Roberta Straughter, both of whom precede him in death. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife Willie Jean Straughter; son Duwayne Straughter; brother Gene Straughter; sisters Dorothy, Maggie, Margie and Daisy Mae.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving children Theresa Whittaker, Carl Straughter, Sidney Straughter and Barbara Straughter; grandchildren Robin Limbrick, Corey Whittaker, Richmond Straughter, Kevin Henderson, Devin Henderson, Christin Straughter; great-grandchildren Domonick Limbrick, LaDarius Whittaker, Jaheim Smith.
Service for Felix will be held at Temple of Faith Church, Shepherd, Texas, Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Officiating is Reverend Darryl W. Richardson. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
