Frances B. "Fran" Gill, 89, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Cleveland, Texas. She was born on Friday, January 7, 1927 in Baird, Nebraska to DeWitt Carl Compton and Ethel Lee Butler Compton, both of whom have preceded her in death. Frances was also preceded in death by the father of her children, Ernest Gill, brothers, Zane Compton, Sammy Compton, DeWitt Compton, Jr., sisters, Lois Bruce, Faye Fregia. Frances was survived by her children, Terry Neill of Cleveland, Texas, Ernest R. Gill of Cleveland, Texas, Pam Wells and husband Royce of Willis, Texas; sister, Sue Walker; grandchildren, Steven Neill and wife Jennifer, Tessa Wilken and husband Casey, Jason Gill and wife Holly, Miranda Bryzowski and husband Adam, Trey Gill, Kyra Chapman and husband Patrick, Karly King and husband Jeremy, Kacey Wilkins and husband Ben; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous other loving family and treasured friends. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to Cleveland Senior Citizen Center, of which she was a very active member. The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 1pm to 2 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held for Frances at Neal Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 2 pm. Minister Connie McKeethan officiating.
All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
