Freddie Mae Kendrick, 80, of New Caney, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. She was born on Monday, September 17, 1934 in Minden, Louisiana to Claude Downs and Ollie Mae (Smith) Downs both of whom have preceded her in death. Freddie was also preceded in death by her husband, Willis Kendrick, sister, Maxine Marvin and nephew, Claude Marvin. Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughter, Mona Kendrick of New Caney, TX; grandchildren, Crystal Moore and husband Randy of New Caney, TX, Garret Schoppe of New Caney, TX.; great grandchildren, Reba Engel, Vanessa Moore and Savannah Moore of New Caney, TX; great- great grandchild, McKenna Moore of New Caney, TX; nieces, Mary Jamison and husband Pat of Abita Springs, LA. Dorothy "Dot" Lundin and husband Eric of Belle Chase, LA; nephew, Tommy Marvin and wife Debbie of Birmingham, AL. Numerous other beloved family and a loving friends. Visitation for Freddie will be held at Neal Funeral Home, on Friday, August 07, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Saturday, August 08, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery 13102 N. Freeway Houston, Texas 77060 at 1:00 p.m. Officiating, Reverend Chad Sangster.
