George Hawk

George Hawk, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on May 25, 2024, in Tomball, TX. Born on February 28, 1950, George lived a life filled with love, laughter, and moments that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

George proudly served in the U.S. Navy, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to his country. His military service was a testament to his courage and commitment to protecting the freedoms we hold dear. 

Outside his service, George had a multitude of interests that brought him joy. From gardening to boating, fishing to watching war movies, George embraced life with a sense of adventure and curiosity. He had a particular fondness for Ford pickup trucks and spent countless hours exploring his family genealogy. He was also very proud of his Native American descent with the Kalapuyan, Cree Nation.

Family was at the center of George's world. He adored his daughters and granddaughters beyond measure. His first wife, Loretta Hawk; daughter, Michaela Meils; and his parents, Marvin Hawk and Beverly Hawk, preceded him in death. Their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew them.

George is survived by his loving wife, Connie West Hawk; daughter Cheyenne and her husband Cody; grandchildren Ralph Alley III, Anderson Polk, Aberdeen Polk, Dallas Winters, and Bailey Winters; his dear friend Niki Morgan N.P.; his faithful companions - Prissy, Red, Rusty, Charlie the doggies, and Cali the cat; along with numerous other loving relatives and a host of friends.
