Gloria McGowan

Gloria Denise McGowan, 60, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014. She was born on Monday, June 1, 1953, in Houston, Texas to Phillip Comeaux Sr. and Elma Lee Busby. Gloria was preceded in death by her grandfather, Elmer Busby and grandmother, Willie Mae; Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 39 years Calvin McGowan; loving children, Natasha "Tasha" Lopez and Miquel of Porter, Texas, Calvin "Ray" McGowan Jr. and wife Charlene of Atascocita, Texas, Latoria "Tori" McGowan and Cedric of Houston, Texas, Ashley Wyatt of Cleveland, Texas; brothers, Phillip Comeaux Jr, Tony Comeaux and Jerry Elam; sisters, Glenda Smith and husband Samuel and Gail Wyatt; grandchildren, Denerian, Jaz, Jerris, Javon, Persia, Christian and Alayna; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. She grew up in Cleveland, Texas where she graduated from Douglas High School, she was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. Gloria worked at motivation Education and Training, Inc. for 25 years. Visitation will be held at Neal Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas Saturday, April 19, 2014 at from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Gloria's Homegoing Celebration will start promptly at 11:00 a.m.
