Guinland Gene Teague

Guinland Gene Teague, 78, of Splendora, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in Houston, Texas due to an automobile accident that occurred in Lufkin, Texas on Saturday November 28, 2015. He was born on Monday, July 5, 1937 in Lawton, Oklahoma to A.Q. Teague and Lois Baugh Teague, both of whom have preceded him in death. Guinland was also preceded in death by his son, Ronald Gene Teague and his grandson, Robert Lee Freeman. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 41 years, Jessie Lavon Teague; beloved children, Susan DeAnn Teague, Robert Teague and wife Kimberly, Paula Shell and husband Dave, Kay Hickerson and husband John, Robert Green and wife Debbie; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Family would also like acknowledge that he was a devoted "Houston Texans" football fan. Visitation for Guinland will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Friday December 4, 2015 from 5pm-8pm and at Stringer Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas on Saturday, December 05, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 06, 2015 at Stringer Griffin in Jasper, TX. Interment for will immediately follow at Ferrell Cemetery.
