Hurshel Franklin Hooks, 69, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017. He was born on Tuesday, December 23, 1947 in Michigan to Glen and Madge Hooks, both of whom have preceded him in death. Hurshel was also preceded in death by his son, Thomas Hooks, and brother, Donald Hooks. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 47 years, Chong (Kim) Hooks; daughter, Barbara Ziemer and husband Andrew; brothers, Tom and wife Sandy Hooks, George and wife Sandy Hooks; and sister, Judy Pat; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends.
