James Ray Hamilton

James Ray Hamilton, 74, of Splendora, Texas, passed away Sunday May 22, 2016 in Kingwood, Texas. He was born Sunday August 24, 1941 in Rusk, Texas to Tommie James and Bennie Ruth (Busby) Hamilton, both of whom precede him in death. He is also preceded in death by his brother, William Paul Hamilton.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 55 years Mary Sue (Eason) Hamilton; sons, James Virgil Hamilton, and wife Margaret, and Darwin Glenn Hamilton; brother, Elmer Roy Hamilton, and wife Juanita; sisters, Bennie Lee Porter, Doris Evelyn Barfield, and husband Buddy, Connie Mae Haynes, and Bobbie Hamilton; grandchildren, Zachery Virgil Hamilton, and wife Amanda, Kayla Dawn Hardy, and husband Daniel, and Dylan Edward Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Rieley Madison Damos-Woodard, Zoey Reese Hamilton, Mason Lee Hardy, Nola Rae Hardy, and Jax Virgil Hamilton.
Visitation for James will be Tuesday May 24, 2016, 6-9 pm at Neal Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday May 25, 2016 at 2 pm at Neal Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Morgan Cemetery, Rev. Glen Mead, and Rev Robert Wayne Willis officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Splendora Assembly of God, Building Fund.
All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
