James Leslie May

James Leslie May, 67, of Splendora, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016. He was born on Monday, November 29, 1948, in Cleveland, Texas. James was preceded in death by his father, Zenithan Evan May and his brother, Gary Lynn May. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 46 years Martha May; son, Jesse May and wife Beth; daughter, Tamara Abke and husband Shaun; mother, Allie (Currie) May; two brothers, David May and wife Holly, Darrell May; sister, Lynda Williams and husband O.W.; grandchildren, Gracie Bumpurs, Allie Bumpurs, Hannah May and Aaron Abke; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. James loved the outdoors and spending time with friends and family, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. James was loved my many and will be greatly missed.
Visitation for James will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Monday, September 5, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Interment for James will immediately follow at Plum Grove Cemetery. Officiating, Brother Carl Williamson.
