James Buford Reed

James Buford Reed, 88, of Romayor, Texas, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017. He was born on Monday, October 22, 1928, in Alto, Texas, to Mr. Reed and Grace Reed, both of whom have preceded him in death. James was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Emma Ida Mae (Presley) Reed; son, Douglas Lambert and wife Nellie "Kitten"; daughter, Helen Anderson; brother, Bill Reed; sister, Juanita Miller. Left to cherish his memory is his sons, James "Bubba" Reed, John Reed, Joey Gunn, Donald Lambert and wife Judy; daughter-in-law, Sheila Reed; grandchildren, Michelle, April, Denise, Russell, Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Cevanna, Garrett, Case, Raegan; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Our gratitude to James Buford Reed, he served our country during the Korean War 1950 - 1953. Visitation for James will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Friday, April 28, 2017, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services for James will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at 2:00 pm. Interment for James will immediately follow at Romayor Cemetery.
