Jeffrey Warren Hammons, 45, of Cleveland, Texas passed away from this lifetime into eternal glory with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Friday, March 7, 2014. Jeff was born in Dallas, Texas on Monday June 17, 1968 but grew up and primarily resided in the Houston area with Cleveland, Texas being his home since 1994.He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Albert Warren Hammons Sr., C.B. and Zula Winningham. Left to cherish his memory is his loving father: Albert Warren Hammons Jr. and wife Barbara Hammons of League City, Texas and mother Sharon (Winningham) Sanders and husband Danny Sanders of Onalaska, Texas, Also left to cherish his memory is his loving daughter and son: Tayler Day Hammons; son: Corey DeWayne Hammons and their mother; Tammy Hammons; sisters: Sheryle V. Gates and husband Dale, Monica D. Morris and husband Scott; brother: Albert W Hammons III and son: Keegan Hammons; grandmother: Joyce Hammons; uncles: C.B. Winningham Jr., Don and wife Lesa Hammons; aunt Nina and husband Harry LeMaster; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. From a very young age Jeff was known for his compassion towards animals and his encouraging spirit towards his family. As Jeff grew into manhood he was a man that deeply cared for his family, friends and country. He was passionate for sports and giving his family much joy and many fond memories watching him give 100 percent playing baseball, football and soccer then there was the many good times on fishing trips together. As an adult he continued his love for sports as an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and other sports; participating in his love for the outdoor activities such as; fishing, boating and camping when time and health afforded the opportunityJeff was a talented man who enjoyed working on cars, building houses and could fix and repair almost anything. In his early adult years he worked closely with his father learning the profession of Piping Design. His interest and ability provided the motivation for Jeff to further develop his skills by attending courses, and teaching himself how to use numerous industrial design programs that endorsed him to have a career as a professional Piping Designer in the petrochemical industry. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the The American Cancer Society in Jeff's name.
Visitation for Jeff will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services for Jeff will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. All services were handled under the
