Jesse Elias Davis

Jesse Elias Davis, 88, of Shepherd, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. He was born on Tuesday, April 30, 1929 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Elias Davis and Mattie Marie (Person) Davis, both of whom have preceded him in death. Jesse was also preceded in death by his loving spouse, Mary Davis, and son, James Arnold Davis. Left to cherish his memory is his loving children, Shella White, Jesse Davis, Jr., Susie M. Davis, and Vanessa Davis; grandchildren, Tammy, Jimmy, Greg, Brian, Jessica, James, and Jazz; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Jesse will be held at Neal Funeral Home on November 25, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 pm. Interment for Jesse will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery in Nacogdoches, Texas. Reverend Billy Joe Tubbe officiating.
