Jessie Mae Scott

Jessie Mae Scott, 97, went to be with the Lord, Friday, November 23, 2012.

Jessie was born Tuesday, May 18, 1915, in Romayor, Texas to Dan Hamilton and Karen Adams, both of who preceded her in death. Jessie was also preceded in death by her husband Leroy Scott, Sr.; children Leroy Scott, Jr., Othella Reescano and Tony Scott; siblings John Tucker, Arthur Hamilton, Addie Marsh, Ocie Vonner, Norrine Price, Mary Price and Edna Ross.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Nina V. Powell, Don Scott, Sr., Larry Scott, Laura Bolds and Milton Scott; sister Linia Alfred; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and numerous other loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will include Anthony Scott, Ronald Scott, Dana Scott, Don Scott, Jr., Gerald Bolds, and Alton Reescano; Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Scott, Sr., Larry Scott, Milton Scott, Ronald Russell, Donald Scott, and Leroy Scott, III.


Visitation for Jessie will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 6 to 9 pm at Neal Funeral Home Chapel. Service for Jessie will be held Wednesday, at 11 am. Interment to follow in the Dolen Cemetery in Dolen, Texas. Officiating Reverend Charles Hines. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
