Jimmy Arnold Bates

Jimmy Bates, 74, of Humble, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 He was born on Saturday, November 14, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas to Jimmy Coy Bates and Florene Mozell Bates, both of whom have preceded him in death. Jimmy was also preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Christine Bates; brother, Tex Ray Bates. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Frances Bates; three daughters, Cathlene Renee Kerr and husband Billy, Sherry Louise Hallman and husband Kenneth, Paula Marie Castillo; son, Christopher Arnold Bates and wife Dana; 10 beloved grandchildren. Numerous other loving family and treasured friends. A memorial service for Jimmy will be on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 11:00 am, at Dolen Baptist Church.
