John Raymond Blackstock

John Raymond Blackstock, 63, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He was born on Saturday, May 31, 1952 in Gonzales, Texas to Kenneth Marvin Blackstock and Hilda Biesenbach Blackstock, both of whom have preceded him in death. John was also preceded in death by his faithful dog "PeeWee". He was a loving and devoted man to his grandchildren and family. John was a man that never sought out the spotlight. He was always behind the scene taking care of other people. He was the type of man that would give the shirt off of his back to help anyone. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 43 years Mary Blackstock; sons, John Barry Blackstock and wife Vicky, Brad Allen Blackstock; brothers, Kenny Blackstock and wife Marilyn, Kyle Blackstock, David Blackstock and wife Becky; sisters, Joy Honeycutt, Velma James, Faye Blackstock, Francis Barnett; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Charlie Blackstock; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. The family will receive family and friends at Neal Funeral Home on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life for John will follow at 2 pm.
