John Huewitt Johnson

John Huewitt Johnson, 85, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014. He was born on Thursday, July 12, 1928 in Bowie County, Texas to John Thomas and Pearl Smith-Johnson, both of whom have preceded him in death. John was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Mary Ruth Johnson; grandchild, Sonia Lenea Oldham; Left to cherish his memory is his loving children, daughter, Elizabeth Ann Inglis and son, John David Johnson; two brothers, R.W. Smith and wife Dean, Roger Smith and wife Gladys; sister, Patty Jean; grandchildren, Dennis, Kenneth, Kevin and John Inglis and Amber and David Johnson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for John will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 p.m. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 2, 2014 at Oakshade Cemetery. Pastor Thomas Bolton, officiating.
