Juanita Gilbert-Lilley Ownes

Juanita Gilbert Lilley Owens, 95, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015, in Conroe, Texas. She was born on Monday, December 29, 1919 in San Jacinto Co, Texas to Icy Ophilia Mizell Gilbert and Lee Franklin Gilbert, both of whom have preceded her in death. Juanita was also preceded in death by her husbands, Merritt T. Lilley and Joseph J. Owens; sisters, Estelle Jackson, Lucille Vann, and May Bell Gilbert; brothers, Odus F Gilbert, Cecil Griffin Gilbert, Truman S. Gilbert, Freelum F. Gilbert, Coy Lee Gilbert, Borden Gilbert, Glen Gilbert, Roscoe Gilbert, Bufurd C. Gilbert, Leon Gilbert, and William Doyle Gilbert. Those left to cherish her memory is her loving sons, James Meredith Lilley and wife Martha, Stan Lilley and wife Karen; grandchildren, Terri Fujioka Lilley, Ben Joseph Lilley, Christopher Aaron McLaughlin and wife Courtney, Elizabeth Kay Harrell and husband Brandon, Amanda Diann Olson and husband Justin, Katy Elizabeth Deming and husband Matt; great-grandchildren, Merritt John Olson, Olivia Josey Olson, Roscoe Doyle Deming, Dade Jordan Deming, Hayes Louis Harrell; sisters-in-law, Marie Dean, and Beverly Gilbert; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Juanita will be held at Neal Funeral Home on December 29, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services for will be held at Magnolia Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment for will immediately follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
