Kathrine Bernice Davis, 88, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012 in Splendora, Texas.Bernice was born Tuesday, June 17, 1924, in Waller, Texas to Charles and Ethel Cobb Clepper, both of whom precede her in death. Bernice was also preceded in death by her husband L.V. Davis; daughter Doris Aleene Falson; sister Juanita Richardson.Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Onie Lawrence and husband Thomas of Splendora, Rose Strange and husband Willie of Cleveland; sister Janice Hayden and husband Bill of Splendora; grandchildren Kathy Stringfellow of Grangerland, Kimberly Barringer of Grangerland, Katrina Free and husband Steve of Tomball; a special stepson and best friend Bill Jones of Florida; fishing buddy and special friend James Coffield; very special niece Cindy Strickland; six great-granddaugthers Melissa, Jennifer, Danielle, Misty, Amber & Hannah; seven great-grandsons Marlin, Terry, Tommy, Wesley, Michael, P.J & Trevor; nineteen great-great grandchildren; nineteen stepchildren, a host of other step grandchildren, family and friends; Visitation for Bernice will be held Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Neal Funeral Home from 5 to 9 pm. Service for Bernice will be held Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 2 pm at Neal Funeral Home. Interment to follow in the Morgan Cemetery. Officiating is Pastors Kerry Baxley and Clyde Summers. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
