Kennard Thorton

Kennard Thornton, 79, of Splendora, Texas passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015. He was born on Sunday, March 10, 1935 in Splendora, Texas to J.J. and Verna Ocie (Ward) Thornton, both of whom have preceded him in death. Kennard was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggie J. Thornton; brothers, John Bruce Thornton and J.P. Thornton; Left to cherish his memory is his loving children, Howard Thornton and wife Jacque, Sherridan Kreg and husband Bruce, Connie Murry and husband Randy, Katrina Moore and husband Donald; grandchildren, Terrance, Kendra, Travis, Jessica, Bradley, and Randy Jr.; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Briar, Macee, Zachary, Corbin, Jersee, Gunner, Connor, and Cayden ; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Graveside service for Kennard, will be held at Splendora Cemetery, Wednesday February 25, 2015 at 2:00pm. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
