Lawrence was born Sunday, September 3, 1933, in Jacksboro, Texas to Cecil Weir and Ila Weir, both of whom preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death is his loving wife Pauline Weir.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Debra Davis and husband Gary of Lewisville, Texas, Dan Weir and wife Carrie of Troy, Texas; stepdaughter Margie Haines of Conroe; stepsons Ted Haines and wife Nancy of St. Louis, Missouri, John Haines and wife Lee of Magnolia, Texas, James Haines and wife Marie of Conroe, Texas; brother Truitt Weir and wife Ida of Jacksboro, Texas; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and a host of treasured friends and family.
All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
