Lee C Sweeten

Lee C. Sweeten, age 98, of Cleveland, TX passed away Friday January 11, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston, TX.
Lee was known for his love of building homes, even after he retired he would go help anyone who needed him and never charge for his time. He was a lifetime member of the VFW in Cleveland, and helped to get it organized in the Cleveland area.
Lee was born Friday July 17, 1914 in Goodrich, TX to Grover and Katie (Renfro) Sweeten, both of whom precede him in death. Lee is also preceded in death by his brothers Coy Sweeten, Alvin Sweeten, and Earnest Sweeten; sisters Estelle Goodson and Lillie Hayden.
He is survived by his loving sons; Ronald Sweeten and wife Jeanell , Donald Sweeten and wife Brenda; sister Eddy Ruth Jahos; grandchildren Tracy Alexander and husband Aaron, Arin Love, Michael Sweeten and wife Hayley, Stephen Sweeten and wife Kendra; great-grandchildren, Caitlin Bartlett, Kelsie Sweeten, Adrianna Sweeten, Dalton Sweeten and Madeline Sweeten.
Visitation for Lee will be held at Neal Funeral Home Monday January 14, 2013 from 5-9 pm. Services for Lee are Tuesday January 15, 2013 at 10 am. Interment to follow at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.
All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
