LeeRoy Varnado

LeeRoy Varnado, 84, went home to be with his Lord and savior Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in Kingwood, Texas. LeeRoy was born Thursday, January 12, 1928, in Washington Parish, Louisiana to Jake Varnado and Grace Fussel Varnado. LeeRoy was preceded in death by his parents. Also preceding him in death are his two children Jauan Page and Rickie D. Varnado; sister Jaunell Cosby and his loving dog "Tilly". Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 67 years Evie Mae Varnado; son Walter Varnado of Tarkington Prairie, TX; daughter Bronis and husband Michael Donnelly of Porter, TX; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Visitation for LeeRoy will be held Neal Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Graveside service for LeeRoy will be held Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Boothe Cemetery in Tarkington, Texas at 10 am. Officiating is Billy Gene Walker and Paul Gauther. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
