Lilly "Marie" Shelton

Lilly Marie Shelton, 71, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014. She was born on Monday, February 22, 1943 in Port Arthur, Texas to Manuel and Melba (Sanford) Jernigan, both of whom have preceded her in death. Lilly was also preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy Jernigan and Oniel Jernigan; Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Clyde Shelton; children, Douglas Martin and wife Sheila of Cleveland, Texas, Dianne Cook and husband Mark of Spring Texas, and Crystal Sims and husband James of Cleveland, Texas; brothers, Arvie Jernigan and wife Patricia, of Troup Texas, Billy Jernigan of Sacul, Texas, Wayne Jernigan and wife Leona of Justin, Texas, and Joe Jernigan of Center, Texas; grandchildren, Amber Bickford, Heather Bickford, Elizabeth Champagne, Karl Herrod, Douglas Champagne, Aimee Martin, Ross Stone, Meghan Mondragon, and Leigh Martin; great-grandchildren, Zane Zoshak, Aiden Hopkins, Jeanie Champagne, and Douglas Champagne Jr.; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Garden.
