On the 13th of July, 2024, the world lost a beloved soul with the passing of Lois Fay Richey. She was a precious gem in the lives of all who knew her. Born on November 19, 1934, in Hollis, OK, Lois brought immense joy and love to her family and friends throughout her life.
Lois was a woman of extraordinary warmth and kindness, known for her unwavering love for her family, especially her grandchildren. Her eyes sparkled with joy whenever she was surrounded by the little ones she adored so dearly. Shopping brought her great delight, and she had a keen eye for finding beauty in simple things.
A faithful servant to her Lord, Lois's life was a testament to her strong faith and gentle spirit. She touched the hearts of many with her sweet nature and genuine affection for people. A true "people person," Lois had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and loved in her presence.
She is preceded in death by her father, Loy Lester Lowery, and mother, Tressie Sherwood, her loving husband Jerry Richey, daughters Teresa Henderson and Pennie Bacon. Reunited with them now, Lois leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by, her son Gerry Richey and his wife Jamie, grandchildren Chane Richey, Laura Gerthe, Ashley Henderson, Jennifer Williams, Sheryl Jones, Patricia Grosch, brother Loy Ray, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; also survived by many loving family members and a host of friends.
In every smile shared and every act of kindness extended, Lois Fay Richey will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her grace. May her memory be a source of comfort and strength during this time of loss. Rest peacefully now in the arms of your Lord; your spirit will forever be cherished.
