Margaret Evelyn Wells

Margaret Evelyn Wells, 86, of Shepherd, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018. She was born on Friday, January 29, 1932 in Birmingham, Alabama to George Yarborough and Blanche (Williams) Yarborough, both of whom have preceded her in death. Margaret was also preceded in death by her spouse, R.D. Wells, children, George Gregory "Greg" Wells and Melba Lee Johnson, brothers, Arthur Yarborough and James E. Yarborough. Left to cherish her memory is her loving son, Roger Wells Sr. and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Amiee Neal and husband Bill, George Gregory Wells Jr. and wife Kristin, Joseph Wells and wife Shelley, Charlie Wells and wife Brandi, Clayton Wells, Serena Hilden and husband Jonathan, Cassandra Ashe and husband Chad, Stephanie Hays and husband Robert, Samantha Johnson, Patricia Falls, Roger Wells Jr. and wife Tabatha, Sara Davis and husband John, and Katy Wells; 27 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Graveside Services will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Trinity, Texas on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Darrell McAdams officiating.
All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
