Margie Leah Haltom

Margie Leah Haltom, 90, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. She was born on Sunday, August 15, 1926 in Houston, Texas to Charles and Loraine (Heyck) Meyer, both of whom have preceded her in death. Margie was also preceded in death by her husband, Bassett Bonnie Haltom Jr.; sons, Russell Scott, and James Elliot; brothers, J.C. Meyer, and Marvin Meyer; grandchildren, Deanna Gill, and Paula Gill. Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughters, Barbara Scott, and Sharon Hunter; grandchildren, Bradley Gill, and wife Terri, Corey Gill, Kimberly Rogers, and husband Kristopher, Christina Elliot, Stephanie Wilkinson, and husband Michael, Robin Groh, and husband Michael, and Chance Elliot; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Meagan, Joseph, Bryan, Kayla, Becca, Megan, Zakary, Bailey, Tristan, Gracie, C.J., Mason, Hannah, Allie, and Shannon; and great-great-granddaughter, Lily; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Margie will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Saturday, July 1, 2017, from 1PM to 2 PM. Funeral service will begin at 2 PM, burial will follow will at Splendora Cemetery at 3:30 PM. Bro. Jeffrey Wright, officiating.
