Marshall Lee Soto

It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Marshall Lee Soto of Shepherd, Texas, who left us on his 54th birthday, March 15, 2025.  Marshall was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.  His loss will be felt deeply by all who knew him.  He was an avid fan of traveling with his wife Kim, always looking forward to their next adventure.

Marshall was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel, father-in-law, David "Too Tall" Reeves.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Kim Reeves Soto, sons; Kyle Soto and wife Laci, Shane Massey and wife Dana, his cherished grandson Kristian and future grandson Miller, his mother, Donna Kowis, sister, Rhonda Richie, brothers; John Soto and Kevin Soto, his mother-in-law, Deanie Reeves, sister and brother-in-law, Kirk and Kaye Ardoin, brother-in-law, David Reeves, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and all the children that he loved and they loved him.

Marshall was a man of great warmth and kindness.  Known for his generous spirit, his infectious smile and his unwavering loyalty.  He touched the lives of everyone around him, whether through his work, his friendships or his family. Marshall left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.  He was giving, loving, kind, and always willing to help those in need, without being boastful or in need of a thank you.

Though his time with us was far too short, his legacy will live on through the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the memories he created.  Marshall's family takes comfort in knowing that he is at peace, and they find solace in the love and joy he brought into their lives.

Cremation was handled under the care of Neal Funeral Home, 200 S. Washington Ave., Cleveland, Texas, 77327
