Maurice Daniel Modisette

Maurice "Easy" Daniel Modiserre, 76, of Shepherd, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016. He was born on Wednesday, July 17, 1940, in Lufkin, Texas, to Edgar Stanton and Lena Belle (Sims) Modisette, both of whom have preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother Johnny Carrell "Dute" Modisette. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife or 36 years Ruby Jett Modisette; children, Maurice Bryant Gibson, III, Tammy Gibson Kelso, Bruce Layne Sims, Mark Daniel Modisette; brothers, James Thomas Modisette; sisters, Jo Ann Franklin and Janice Jones; grandchildren, Hagen Branch Kelso, Kelsie Rae Gibson, Maurice Bryant Gibson, IV, Hannah Renee Kelso, Hank Garrett Kelso, Marissa May, Clayton, Katie, Trinity, and Tagen Sims, Daniel, Andrew, and Sophia Modisette; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends.
