M.L. "Red" Holloway

M. L. (Red) Holloway 78, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2013 in Houston, Texas. He was born on Friday, September 28, 1934 in Humphreys, Mississippi to John Jefferson Holloway and Lillie Mae (Ellis) Holloway, both of whom have preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his beautiful daughter, Darla Grace Holloway, brother, Cloyes Holloway, sisters, Velma Turner, Johnie Mae Smith and Hazel Sanders; Left to cherish his memory is his loving spouse of 59 years Alice (Dale) Holloway; children, Teresa Lynne Holloway, Mark Steven Holloway and wife Blanda; grandchildren, Crystal Garrison and husband Mike, Timothy Cavanaugh and wife Amanda, Clay Holloway and wife Heather, Clifton Holloway; Casey JoAnn Holloway; great grandchildren Jake Garrison and wife Carolyn, Luke, Burt, Elijah and Levi Garrison, Ayden Cavanaugh, Tyler and Hailey Holloway; Jordan and Madison Grace Holloway; great-great grandchildren, Calla and Dakota Garrison, along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Red will be held on Thursday, May 09, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. The Funeral service will be Friday, May 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at Oak Shade Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Nick Van, Officiating.
