Nelda Joyce Sullivan

Nelda Joyce Sullivan, 85, of Dayton, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018. She was born on Monday, January 25, 1932 in Manning, Texas to Gordie Neal and Zola (Fancher) Neal, both of whom have preceded her in death. Joyce was also preceded in death by the father to her children, Virgil Gibson, and brother, John Ed Neal. Left to cherish her memory is her loving spouse Charles Sullivan; children, Brenda Wilkes and husband Jim, Pat Pierce and husband Allen Potter, Carolyn Poole and husband Ed; brother, Ray Neal and wife Pam; sister, Ruby Burnett; grandchildren, Melanie Rose and husband Charles, Shelley Krueger and husband Sam Lopez, Angie Wilson and husband Jon, Stacey Warren and husband Stephen, Kris Pierce and wife Micah, Josh Poole and wife Janine, Matt Poole and fiance Megan Wright; 12 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces nephews and other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Joyce will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Rural Shade Baptist Church at 11:00 am. Interment for Joyce will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Humble, Texas at 2:00p.m. Pastor Bryon Reeves officiating.
