Norris Lillian Sonnier, 85, entered into rest on Thursday, August 1, 2013 in Houston, Texas. She was born in Coleman County, Texas on Sunday, October 16, 1927 to Arthur Hollon and Molly (Tabor) Hollon both of whom preceded her in death. Norris was also preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Sonnier; sister, Faye Lico, and twin sister Zora Flowers. Left to cherish her memories are children, Sharon Witten and husband Rick and Janet Whitton and husband Bill; brothers, Sonny Hollon and wife Buelah and Roy Hollon and companion Priscilla Garrett; sisters Thelma Pennington, O'Zell Byrd and husband Van; sister-in-law Pearl Taylor; grandchildren, Terry Olson and husband Mike, Jesse Witten and wife Jamie, Billy Whitton lll, and Blake Whitton; great grandchildren, Peri Olson, Kendall Jaroszewski, Jesse, Jasmine and Kaitlin Witten; along with numerous other loving family and cherished friends. Visitation for Norris will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Monday, August 5, 2013 from 10am - 12pm. Service for Norris will be held at Neal Funeral Home Monday, August 5, 2013 at 12:00 PM. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
