Odis Rayford Hopson Jr

Odis Rayford Hopson Jr., 65, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Shepherd, Texas. He was born on Thursday, May 6, 1948 to Odis Rayford Hopson Sr. and Lucille (Lagraiver) Hopson, both of whom have preceded him in death. Odis was a Master Mason of the East Houston Lodge # 1299, a member of the Sons of Legion Unit 629, he retired from the Houston Fire Department and was a proud employee of San Jacinto County Precinct 2 Road Bridge crew and Odis was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Virginia Hopson; daughter, Robin Pilette and husband Jeff of Bullard, Tx; brothers, Dennis Hopson and wife Brenda of Sheldon, Tx, James Hopson and wife Patricia of Humble, Tx; sister, Sylvia Frantz of Greenbay Wi; grandchildren Brittany Carpenter, Brayden Pilette and Brennan Pilette; mother-in-law, Ruth Everitt; brothers-in-law, Jerry Everitt and wife Charlene, George Everitt and wife Gayla; Dan Everitt and wife Sandy along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Visitation for Odis will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 5-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, from 10:00 am. Interment will follow in the Farley Chapel, Officiating, Zach Currier, Dale Everitt and Ronald Ellisor.
